Murdoch University's Perth campus is home to multiple cutting-edge molecular research facilities, such as the Antimicrobial Resistance and Infectious Disease Laboratory, Australian National Phenome Centre, Institute for Immunology and Infectious Diseases, State Agricultural Biotechnology Centre, and Cryptic Laboratory. Study alongside scientists recognized as exceeding world-class standards in medical microbiology, immunology, and genetics. Develop practical competencies through extensive laboratory work that complements theoretical knowledge throughout the program.
Bachelor of Science in a cognate discipline (AQF Level 7). Other AQF Level 7 qualifications will be considered if they are broadly relevant to infectious diseases and contain relevant units in biological or chemical sciences, at the discretion of the Academic Chair. Satisfactory preparation for the course through informal or non-formal learning and/or professional experiences subject to the approval of the Academic Chair.
