Enhance your legal career prospects by pairing your Bachelor of Laws with a Bachelor of Criminology, delving into how law functions within the criminal justice system. Murdoch University offers this unique dual-degree opportunity, where you'll analyze crime through legal, sociological, and psychological lenses while developing strategies to combat criminal activity and support those affected by it. This combined program allows specialization in Criminal Behaviour, Crime Science, or White Collar and Corporate Crime (note: the Legal Studies major isn't available in this combined structure).

Three compelling advantages of Murdoch's Law and Criminology dual degree: Engage in practical learning by collaborating with organizations at various levels - our students have gained experience with WA Police's Evidence Based Policing Unit. Participate in Western Australia's premier mooting program, competing nationally and internationally. Gain practical legal experience through our acclaimed clinic, earning academic credit while assisting real clients with human rights, family law, and indigenous matters.

The Bachelor of Criminology's distinctive White Collar and Corporate Crime major (Australia's only program of its kind) transforms your perspective on business and global affairs. Investigate high-profile cases like Volkswagen's emissions scandal while studying financial crimes, environmental offenses, and corporate misconduct. This program equips you with research methodologies, digital forensic techniques, and analytical skills to examine organizational criminal behavior. You'll cultivate critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and evidence-based decision-making abilities while mastering professional communication and data analysis techniques for your future career.
