The Law Honours program offers an extra year of study to deepen your legal expertise gained during the Bachelor of Laws. Outstanding academic performance in your undergraduate Law degree may qualify you for this opportunity. This supplementary year builds upon your foundational legal education. Under faculty guidance, you'll engage in focused research on a subject of your selection, while enhancing your investigative skills through specialized coursework and an advanced research methodology component.
Completion of a Bachelor Degree (AQF level 7) or equivalent in the same discipline or cognate area with a Distinction average, subject to the availability of a suitable supervisor and approval by the Honours Academic Chair. Students interested in Honours enrolment are advised to contact the Law School Honours Academic Chair before application to discuss supervision of their potential research.
