Professional terms including haematology (blood research and treatment), immunology (immune system function and pathogen defense), histopathology (tissue alterations from disease), and molecular pathology (analyzing biological molecules) will integrate into your vocabulary as you master specimen processing and diagnostic testing to inform healthcare choices. This four-year Laboratory Medicine program offers specialization through three pathways: Biomedical Science, Genetics and Molecular Biology, or Forensic Biology and Toxicology. During your final year, you'll participate in Murdoch's practical Work Integrated Learning program, implementing your skills in real-world clinical settings.
Applicants are required to complete secondary education (Year 12 or Australian equivalent) currently or within the last two years are eligible to apply. Entry requirements vary country by country.
