The Cyberspace, Policy, and Security Major equips students with essential knowledge about modern security challenges, focusing on how criminal networks, terrorist groups, and nation-states attempt to take advantage of our IT dependence. This program blends technical, security, and criminology courses to develop career-ready expertise in areas like security operations, intelligence analysis, policy development, governance, digital investigations, and law enforcement. Students will learn about IT infrastructure design, system security measures, key cybersecurity governance challenges, the responsibilities of public and private sectors in maintaining cyber defenses, and the legal frameworks for addressing cybercrime.
