Educate high school students on becoming politically active citizens by pursuing a career as a Humanities and Social Sciences educator with a focus on Political Studies. Today's political environment presents intricate challenges and frameworks. Aspiring political scholars require instructors capable of fostering analytical thinking, articulate expression, and the courage to question established norms, shaping them into politically aware individuals. This program delves into the organizational frameworks and processes governing diverse societies and citizen interactions. You'll examine political mechanisms in Australia and globally, the impact of politics on daily life, and methods to make these concepts compelling for teenage learners. Upon completion, you'll be certified to teach Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) for grades 7-10, including advanced Political Studies for Years 11 and 12 ATAR students.
