Western Australia's only program of its kind. Pursue a dual Bachelor's in Criminology and Science to develop distinctive expertise and broaden your professional opportunities. Pair a Forensic Biology and Toxicology specialization from your Science degree with your preferred Criminology focus: Legal Studies, Criminal Behavior, Crime Science, or White Collar and Corporate Crime. Your Science curriculum covers diverse forensic fields, including forensic palynology (using pollen evidence to link suspects to crime scenes), asphyxiation pathology, electrical and gunshot trauma analysis, fatal burn injuries, plus identification of blunt/sharp force wounds and their causative weapons.

The Criminology component explores criminal motivations and patterns in Australia, investigative forensic science, and the nation's judicial processes. This exclusive dual-degree combination opens doors to various career trajectories, like current student Danika's aspiration to work as a Forensic Pathologist. No other Australian institution offers this combined program. Master cutting-edge toxicology analysis methods in our advanced laboratory facilities at the Australian National Phenome Centre. Learn from practicing criminologists who'll challenge you to examine societal and criminal issues through multiple lenses.
