Instruction is provided by Victoria's foremost public health practitioners, hospital specialists, and international health authorities. Leveraging strong ties with The Alfred Hospital, some coursework occurs at the Alfred Research Alliance facility in central Melbourne. Combining online and intensive face-to-face learning, the Master of Public Health delivers the esteemed credentials of a Monash qualification while accommodating working professionals' schedules and offering exceptional networking prospects. The curriculum features six specialized tracks, enabling students to customize their education to match their aspirations and professional objectives. Each specialization includes diverse elective options to broaden expertise: Epidemiology, Global and planetary health, Health economics, Health policy, Health promotion, and Public health. The program also provides hands-on learning experiences through either a Professional Development Practicum or research project/case study, equipping students with practical skills and research capabilities. Regardless of their chosen specialization, participants will acquire fundamental public health competencies to advance their professional trajectories.
Entry Level 1: 96 points to complete Duration: 2 years
An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a non-cognate discipline with at least a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60% or qualification and experience approved by the faculty.
