This program caters to education graduates seeking to pursue advanced research degrees like a Master's by Research or PhD, but who currently lack the necessary research background or feel unprepared for direct entry. The curriculum introduces participants to educational research fundamentals, covering methodologies and study design. Students will put this knowledge into practice by developing and executing a research project, showcasing their ability to conduct, analyze, and present research findings. Completion may qualify graduates for research degree admission within the Education Faculty.
Participants will gain essential research competencies, learning how to:
critically assess educational studies using various methodological approaches,
identify educational issues and develop viable research proposals,
execute substantial education research projects, and
document findings while maintaining proper academic standards.
