This course provides doctoral training in both advanced clinical neuropsychology and advanced research. Once completed, you will be eligible for full registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, and an area of practice endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology following completion of the 2 year registrar program.The Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Neuropsychology) is a graduate research degree that incorporates advanced clinical training in clinical neuropsychology. It integrates theory, practice and research to qualify you as a highly skilled clinical neuropsychologist, able to assess and treat children and adults with neurological and psychological disorders. The program consists two years of intensive, skills-based coursework, three clinical placements in a range of hospital and community settings, and a research thesis that makes a significant contribution to the field of clinical neuropsychology.This intensive coursework program includes units in neuroanatomy, neuropsychological assessment, ethics and professional practice, and neuropsychological rehabilitation.Our teaching and research team comprises accomplished clinical researchers who have been internationally recognised through prestigious awards, as well as experienced practitioners and clinical supervisors who have been awarded for their educational excellence.
