This program is designed to equip students with advanced skills in independent analysis and research within their selected discipline. While preparing graduates for professional careers, it also serves as a foundation for pursuing Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy degrees through coursework or research. The honors program at Clayton campus covers nearly all science disciplines available in the Bachelor of Science curriculum.

They work with organizations such as environmental departments, research institutions like CSIRO, defense services, public utilities, cultural institutions, local governments, and educational or health organizations.
