The curriculum blends Western classical and jazz theory with practical implementation while exploring music across diverse cultural, historical, social, and professional contexts. Supplementary electives span from jazz composition to digital music production, from East Asian musical heritage to conducting techniques. You'll be encouraged to excel in your chosen specialization of Music Performance, Popular Music, or Composition and Creative Music Technology. Qualification Requirements

At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, you must be at least 17 years of age.
All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score.
