The entertainment sector presents distinctive legal and managerial complexities that demand specialized expertise.
This dual degree program provides two distinctly different fields of study, allowing you to merge legal training with education in entertainment and music industries. Pursue both passions - cultivate your artistic talents while challenging your analytical abilities by pairing music studies with legal education. You may choose to specialize in one field over the other, pursuing careers as either a professional musician or legal practitioner (barrister or solicitor), or blend both disciplines in your professional journey. Through this hands-on dual Bachelor's program, you'll have opportunities for international study, various combined degree options, and practical legal experience. Your first year introduces fundamental concepts, processes, and reasoning behind Australia's legal framework. While building this solid foundation, you'll explore diverse legal specialties throughout your studies. The program offers numerous specialized law electives ranging from 'Negotiation and Conflict Resolution' to 'Media Law' or 'Animal Law'. This flexibility to tailor your education extends to music concentrations including popular music, performance, composition, and music technology.
