The field of computer science offers answers to today's growing information demands in our digital era. Businesses require professionals capable of processing and interpreting vast amounts of data produced by engineering systems and equipment. Handling large-scale data presents both a hurdle and potential across various sectors including construction, manufacturing, transportation, and energy. Through this dual-degree program, you will: acquire both conceptual and hands-on abilities to address engineering issues by developing optimized software or leveraging big data analytics, and have the option to combine electrical/computer systems engineering or software engineering with computer science to pioneer solutions across the IT spectrum. To complete this program, students must fulfill 420 hours of professional experience, which can be achieved through 12 weeks of relevant internship or a mix of approved professional activities and engineering work spread throughout the course. Participants must document their learning journey through reflective assignments, specifically addressing the attainment of Engineers Australia's Stage 1 competency standards.
