Literary studies unites enthusiasts of literature and creative writing. Core units introduce diverse cultural and historical perspectives, followed by elective choices in either literary analysis or creative composition.
You'll explore significant contemporary and classic works across genres - novels, poetry, short fiction, and nonfiction. The program develops sophisticated literary understanding within cultural, historical, and professional frameworks, enabling you to analyze texts through the lens of literary movements, themes, genres, and theory while examining literature's ongoing societal impact.
