You will enjoy all the advantages of each degree (refer to Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Music) and be fully prepared to pursue a career in either field independently or to integrate both in your professional life. As a graduate with degrees in Arts and Music, you could build a career in the arts sector, performance, music education, or composition, or in interdisciplinary roles such as production, arts management, policy, or coaching.International relations as a field emerged after World War I and has developed throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. Yet, its fundamental goals remain unchanged: to clarify complex global issues and the political nature of responses to them, and to examine potential global responsibilities. The field fosters critical understanding of the causes, consequences, and difficulties in reducing conflict and fostering cooperation within and among states and societies. It focuses on the connections between international structures, processes, and political entities, including states, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), social movements, and international bodies like the United Nations and its specialized agencies, the World Trade Organization, NATO, and the European Union. Key concepts such as power, sovereignty, security, and the state are central to international relations. You are urged to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, research-based learning, and analytical writing skills to comprehend both contemporary shifts and historical continuities in international relations.
