Our Bachelor of Arts offers 40 major and minor study options spanning languages, social sciences, communications, political science, human rights, and international relations, allowing you to cultivate deep expertise in your chosen disciplines. Graduates receive two distinct degrees: either a Bachelor of Art History and Curating or a combined Bachelor of Fine Art and Bachelor of Arts. This dual qualification prepares you for specialized careers in either field or innovative combinations of both. The Art History and Curating specialization deepens your artistic knowledge through hands-on exhibition development and professional internships that build practical curatorial skills.
This program explores both historical and contemporary Indigenous experiences in Australia and globally. You'll gain broad cultural understanding while examining how Indigenous traditions evolve, alongside developing critical analysis skills for historical and modern contexts. Coursework examines crucial Indigenous societal issues, including ongoing Indigenous-settler relations and connections to land and sea. The curriculum highlights historical conflicts and their impact on modern Australian society.
