Our Bachelor of Arts offers 40 major and minor study options spanning languages, social sciences, communications, political science, human rights, and international relations, allowing you to cultivate deep expertise in your chosen fields. Graduates receive two distinct degrees: either a Bachelor of Art History and Curating or a combined Bachelor of Fine Art and Bachelor of Arts. This dual qualification prepares you for diverse career paths in both disciplines or their intersection. The Art History and Curating specialization provides comprehensive knowledge of artistic traditions while offering practical experience through exhibition development and professional internships. Career opportunities include: art historian, curator, contemporary artist, arts administrator, arts writer, studio director, filmmaker, gallery curator, creative entrepreneur, digital artist, UX designer, film producer, political analyst, human rights advocate, and linguistics specialist.

Political science offers invaluable insights into global human systems while developing critical analytical skills. The discipline explores governance structures, policy formation, social dynamics, and international relations, including conflict resolution and state interactions. At its core, political studies examine power dynamics, authority systems, and the interplay between theory and real-world application. Monash's politics curriculum provides both contemporary global perspectives and foundational knowledge of key philosophical traditions and debates. The program focuses on three core areas: governmental systems and leadership, international relations and comparative politics, along with political theory and behavioral psychology.
