Situated alongside the prestigious Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA), you'll collaborate with Australia's leading artists, art theorists, and cultural experts. Our Bachelor of Arts offers 40 diverse major and minor options spanning languages, social sciences, communications, political science, human rights, and international relations, allowing you to cultivate deep expertise in your chosen disciplines. The program culminates in two distinct degrees: either a Bachelor of Art History and Curating or a combined Bachelor of Fine Art and Bachelor of Arts. You'll acquire comprehensive skills for careers in either field or their intersection. The Art History and Curating specialization fosters artistic appreciation and historical understanding, with practical experience in exhibition development and professional internships. Philosophy examines core concepts about existence and human experience. It explores our world's fundamental nature, envisions ideal living conditions, and seeks improvement strategies. The curriculum covers key philosophical domains: Metaphysics - investigating existence and relationships between entities like mind and body; Epistemology - analyzing knowledge acquisition and validation methods; Ethics and aesthetics - evaluating concepts of morality and beauty; Political philosophy - designing frameworks for just societies; Philosophy of language - deciphering meaning, truth, and communication; Philosophy of mind - examining consciousness and physical reality; and Logic - perfecting reasoning techniques. Qualification Requirements

At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, you must be at least 17 years of age.
