This dynamic dual degree program serves as your gateway to an international career in creative and cultural arts. Our Bachelor of Arts offers 40 major and minor study options spanning languages, social sciences, communications, political science, human rights, and international relations, allowing you to cultivate deep expertise in your chosen disciplines. Graduates earn two distinct degrees: either a Bachelor of Art History and Curating or a combined Bachelor of Fine Art and Bachelor of Arts. This comprehensive preparation enables careers in either field individually or through interdisciplinary practice. The Art History and Curating specialization fosters artistic appreciation through historical context while providing practical experience in exhibition development and professional internships. Career pathways include: art historian, curator, contemporary artist, arts administrator, arts writer, studio director, filmmaker, gallery professional, creative entrepreneur, digital artist, UX designer, media producer, political analyst, human rights advocate, and linguist.

This program offers profound insight into Indigenous experiences across Australia and globally. Students gain foundational knowledge of Indigenous cultural evolution while developing critical analysis skills for historical and modern contexts. Coursework explores vital Indigenous societal issues, including ongoing settler-Indigenous dynamics and profound connections to land and sea. The curriculum examines historical conflicts and their lasting impacts on contemporary Australian society. As an interdisciplinary field, Indigenous cultures and histories integrates anthropology, archaeology, and historical studies while complementing geography, political science, linguistics, environmental studies, sociology, gender studies, and art theory. The program also enhances studies in Law, Education, Science, and Engineering through its cross-cultural perspectives.
