The coming years will present unprecedented challenges and breakthroughs beyond our current imagination. What remains certain is the crucial part scientists will play in addressing these developments—especially entrepreneurial thinkers with expertise in business, communication, research, and policy.
The Bachelor of Science program combines a fundamental core curriculum with 11 specialized majors. Core courses provide a comprehensive grounding in scientific principles and methods, while your chosen major lets you focus on your primary field of interest. During your first two years, you'll apply classroom knowledge through practical scientific projects. In your final year, you'll work alongside peers from all 11 majors, as well as partners from government, industry, research, or education sectors, to solve actual challenges. This immersive, apprenticeship-style experience cultivates employer-valued skills like creative problem-solving, analytical reasoning, clear communication, organizational abilities, and innovative thinking.
