Through a blend of tutorials, workshops, hands-on training, digital learning, and 1000 hours of clinical placements, you'll learn to apply evidence-based occupational therapy techniques and treatments for individuals across all age groups, promoting better health and wellness.
Combine insights from biosciences and public health with specialized occupational therapy knowledge. Analyze and utilize occupational, biopsychosocial, and cultural perspectives to design, execute, and assess occupational therapy practices in varied and evolving settings. Assess research findings critically to translate knowledge into ethical, evidence-based occupational therapy approaches. Independently organize and conduct projects or research, accurately interpreting results.
Engage and communicate proficiently with both professional and non-professional stakeholders, employing advanced, culturally sensitive verbal, nonverbal, and written methods.
At a minimum, you need to have completed Australian Year 12 (or an accepted international equivalent) with a certain grade. You may also need to meet subject pre-requisites
English language requirement:
IELTS: Overall 7.0, no band less than 7.0; Pearson Test of English (PTE): Overall score of 65 with no communicative skill score less than 65; TOEFL Internet based (iBT): Overall 98 with 24 in Reading, 24 in Listening, 23 in Speaking and 27 in Writing
