Studying History equips you with the analytical skills to comprehend our world's evolution while exploring potential future shifts in society, politics, and culture. This program guides you from ancient mythological eras to contemporary times, presenting diverse regional viewpoints including Australia, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. You'll investigate crucial subjects like historical interpretation, imperial cycles, global migration patterns, human rights movements, and ecological preservation. The curriculum offers varied focus areas ranging from culinary traditions and sexual identity studies to Indigenous cultures, religious movements, forced labor systems, historical atrocities, equality movements, and ecological history. You'll master conventional research methodologies while working with multimedia formats to create innovative historical narratives for modern audiences.
At a minimum, you need to have completed Australian Year 12 (or an accepted international equivalent) with a certain grade. You may also need to meet subject pre-requisites
English language requirement:
IELTS: Overall 6.0, no band less than 6.0; Pearson Test of English (PTE): Overall score of 46 with no communicative skill score less than 46; TOEFL Internet based (iBT): Overall score of 64 with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing; Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) / Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 169 with no less than 169 in any component
