Graduates of JCU's Master of Medical Science program possess specialized skills and find employment across diverse medical laboratory environments.
Career opportunities include roles as research scientists in various fields or as clinical scientists specializing in areas like cardiac science, respiratory science, sleep science, neuroscience, or renal physiology. Alternatively, you could work as a medical laboratory scientist in pathology, clinical microbiology, haematology, transfusion science, clinical biochemistry, histopathology, immunology, serology, or laboratory management.
Completion of at least an AQF level 7 biomedical science degree or medical laboratory science degree at this or another university or equivalent determined by course co-ordinator.
Students who complete the Graduate Diploma of Medical Science will be eligible for entry.
IELTS - 6.5 (no component lower than 6.0); TOEFL (internet based) - 86 (no component less than 21); Pearson (PTE Academic) - 58 (no component less than 54); C1 Advanced / C2 Proficiency: 176 (no component less than 169).
