Created in partnership with industry leaders and featuring one of Australia's most extensive Work Integrated Learning programs, the ICMS Bachelor of Hospitality Management sets the standard for modern hospitality education. Graduating from this program equips you with the ideal combination of hands-on experience, theoretical knowledge, and business savvy to excel in your field.
The curriculum emphasizes essential business competencies alongside specialized hospitality management topics. Business courses cover areas like sales and marketing; adaptive leadership, teamwork, and personnel management; strategic decision-making and creative solutions; and financial proficiency. Specialized courses give you insider knowledge of the hospitality industry, developing expertise in areas such as accommodation operations, culinary arts, and food service management.
Hospitality management and business courses are complemented by electives from various business disciplines. Options include studies in marketing, global tourism, entrepreneurship, event coordination, and sports management. This flexibility lets you tailor your hospitality management degree to align with your personal interests and career goals.
Completion of NSW HSC (or equivalent) with a minimum Band 2 in English Standard or English EAL/D and any one of the suggested equivalent subjects, including Mathematics Standard 2, Business Studies, Economics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Investigating Science, Legal Studies, Financial Services or Business Services. ICMS does not use selection ranks for admissions. Applicants are assessed on performance in individual HSC (or equivalent) subjects and may be contacted by ICMS to attend an interview.

International Baccalaureate: Completed IB Diploma with a score of 24
Cambridge International Examinations or Edexcel GCE: Successful completion of GCE A-level with an aggregate of #6
BTEC: Successful completion of BTEC National Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in business or related area
Certificate IV: Successful completion of Certificate Level IV qualification (under the AQF), or its equivalent.
