This program supports your professional growth in public health careers, including practice, research, and management. It helps shift your focus toward disease prevention and health promotion, while being nationally and internationally recognized as a key qualification for public health careers. The curriculum centers on the socio-ecological public health model, examining critical interactions between social, biological, economic, and environmental health factors. You'll gain skills to design, execute, and assess population-level health interventions. With an emphasis on global health, the program offers specialized electives in areas like public health nutrition, health promotion, climate change, international health, environmental health, and health services management.
    a recognised Bachelor degree (or higher) in any discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 using a 7.0 scale.
A higher qualification refers to a qualification at a higher level than a Bachelor qualification, which includes any of the following: a Bachelor Honours Degree, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters Degree, MPhil or PhD.
Students who wish to transfer from the Master of Public Health to the Master of Global Public Health must do so before graduating from the Master of Public Health.
