With increasing consumer interest in eco-friendly products and services, companies must now more than ever recognize the value and consequences of adopting sustainable approaches. This dual-degree program explores critical sustainability topics including energy conservation, water resources, and waste reduction while highlighting the connections between environmental responsibility and corporate performance. Students will study responsible natural resource utilization and complete the program with the expertise to implement eco-conscious solutions across various industries. The business curriculum provides specialized tracks and classes focusing on how essential organizational functions—including communication, strategic planning, team dynamics, HR practices, and professional growth—intersect with sustainability principles. Participants will cultivate vital analytical, interpersonal, and leadership competencies for corporate environments while learning to adapt these abilities to ecological challenges. The culminating year features a practical 'capstone' component, allowing students to pursue either a research initiative or professional internship to gain real-world experience. Graduates may pursue diverse career paths in research institutions, public sector roles, NGOs, engineering firms, environmental advisory services, data analysis, corporate administration, marketing, business strategy, policy development, or sales—qualifying for positions such as sustainability advisor, operations coordinator, project manager, or environmental data specialist.
