This dual degree program allows students to merge business management expertise with creative studio specialization, cultivating essential abilities including critical analysis, professional communication, and strategic decision-making. The Design curriculum equips graduates for versatile design careers through hands-on training and theoretical education. The initial year emphasizes building foundational technical skills, design methodology, and problem identification/resolution techniques. Learners will explore design's evolving industry role and pathways to leadership positions. Subsequent years involve industry-aligned projects, research initiatives, and focused specialization within chosen studio disciplines.

Academic admission requirements for international students will be reviewed by Griffith International and approved the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education).
There are several ways to gain admission to undergraduate programs of the University.
Applicants may be considered for admission based on:
a completed Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) or equivalent;
completed or partly completed higher education studies;
TAFE/VET qualifications;
overseas qualifications considered comparable to Australian secondary studies. completion of a Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)
English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:
