The Master of Science - Research is an advanced research program where students complete a supervised, time-bound research project. This degree allows students to contribute meaningfully to their chosen field of study. Tailored for those with backgrounds in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, or related computing disciplines, the program enhances existing technical, research, and professional capabilities. Graduates gain not just theoretical and practical computer science expertise, but also develop professional ethics awareness and understanding of computing's social, economic, cultural, and global environmental impacts. The curriculum includes projects and coursework focused on current industry and societal challenges, equipping graduates for either doctoral studies or careers in computing-related fields.
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
