The Graduate Certificate of Education's Behaviour and Wellbeing specialization was created in collaboration with active teachers and youth support professionals.
This program enables educators and education professionals to deepen their expertise in behavior management, trauma response, resilience building, and positive psychology. With a hands-on approach, it equips participants with practical skills for supporting youth, particularly those affected by trauma, guiding them toward responsible life choices. The curriculum provides current educators and youth workers with tools to evaluate modern behavior management approaches, question personal and institutional biases about student conduct, and improve their ability to handle difficult behaviors and trauma while fostering resilience and wellbeing across various educational settings.

Qualification Requirements
All applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Education. Alternatively applicants can have a Bachelor level degree in any other field, plus a Graduate Diploma of Education or a Master of Teaching. Special entry may be considered for students with a Bachelor level degree in another field, or a three-year trained teacher, both supported by extensive professional experience, with equivalents considered.
Academic admission requirements (Band 8) may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:
Bachelor degree in a cognate discipline, or
Where accepted, equivalent prior learning, including at least five years relevant professional experience.
IELTS Academic - Overall band minimum score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0).
TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition - Minimum score of 84, with no individual score less than 17.
TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) - Minimum score of 573, including Test of Written English of 5.0 or better.
