Research in Nutrition and Dietetics explores how food and nutrients impact health, influence chronic disease risks, and enhance growth and performance.

Our expertise spans nutrition education, food literacy, gut health, chronic disease management, pediatric nutrition, and dietary strategies for vascular health. We partner with diverse industry stakeholders, from plant breeders to food manufacturers, to create commercially viable, health-promoting food products. Our globally recognized research appears in top-tier journals, receives extensive citations, and shapes dietary policies both in Australia and abroad. We welcome postgraduate applicants interested in specialized areas such as: Nutrition Education and Food Literacy; Vascular Health through Diet; Gut Health Nutrition Strategies; Clinical Nutrition for Chronic Diseases; Dietetic Practices including the Nutrition Care Process; and Lifespan Nutrition. Prospective students should consult with the postgraduate coordinator or potential supervisors to develop specific research topics.
