The Materials Research Group specializes in developing, creating, analyzing microstructures, and assessing properties of cutting-edge materials for diverse engineering uses.
Current research focuses on several interdisciplinary domains: material design, production, and sophisticated analysis; mechanical performance and deformation processes; lightweight alloys and composite materials; functional nanomaterials for water purification; biological materials and composites; and corrosion analysis. This program caters to students and researchers aiming to engage in our group's investigative work, as well as industries looking for solutions or partnerships in related fields through R&D initiatives covering: Metal 3D printing; Biomedical titanium alloys and composites; Nanostructured lightweight alloys; and Water purification nanomaterials.
