Health promotion empowers individuals to take charge of their wellbeing by enhancing their abilities and addressing community disparities. The curriculum focuses on designing, creating, and executing health initiatives like Quit Smoking, Be Active, or LiveLighter through diverse approaches such as digital health platforms, media campaigns, community involvement, advocacy, social marketing, and research assessment. The program explores different environments for health promotion (including schools and rural communities) and targets various demographics (such as refugees, minority populations, youth, and older adults).
