This dual degree program combines studies in Exercise and Sports Science with Sport Business, perfect for students aiming for managerial roles in the sports sector. The Exercise & Sports Science component provides expertise in creating, executing, and assessing programs—from boosting overall health to optimizing athletic performance for top-tier competitors.
The Sports Business component delivers essential knowledge and hands-on skills for professional leadership in modern sports organizations, including entrepreneurship in sports-related ventures. Students can pursue this dual degree through traditional on-campus classes with weekly lectures and labs, or via a blended approach featuring online coursework (lectures, labs, tutorials, and/or seminars) complemented by intensive on-campus lab sessions twice each semester.
The Exercise & Sports Science curriculum develops students' abilities to design, implement, and evaluate health and performance programs, beginning with human anatomy studies and progressing to specialized areas like exercise physiology, sports psychology, biomechanics, motor control, and strength training.
The Sports Business program prepares students to excel as professionals and leaders in sports organizations while providing the tools to launch their own sports enterprises. Starting with an overview of the sports industry, the program covers fundamental business concepts including accounting, marketing, analytics, operations, HR management, finance, legal considerations, venue operations, event coordination, and business strategy development.
