This nationally recognized program prepares aspiring educators to become skilled early childhood teachers, equipped to work in various educational settings from schools to early learning centers.
A core aspect of the curriculum is bridging theoretical knowledge with hands-on application. Graduates will possess the expertise to create educational programs tailored for children aged birth through 8 years. Through collaborations with more than 1,000 educational institutions, student teachers gain exposure to diverse environments—including urban, rural, and remote locations—while working with children, families, and communities.
Unique to this program, fourth-year students can focus on a specialized area to expand their expertise. The curriculum also includes units that fulfill accreditation requirements for teaching in Catholic school systems.
During their final year, participants may apply for an internship placement in either school or early learning environments.
