Biomedical science is an ever-evolving, vibrant discipline offering diverse career opportunities in management, research, teaching, and specialized lab work. Biomedical researchers investigate the functioning of cells, organs, and bodily systems, playing a crucial role in advancing our knowledge and treatment of human illnesses. This program provides comprehensive theoretical foundations covering anatomy, physiology, microbiology, immunology, genetics, biochemistry, and biomedical ethics, coupled with hands-on training in state-of-the-art laboratories within our dedicated 50m Science facility.
Graduates can pursue specialization in various areas including medical science, microbiology, genetics, hematology, histopathology, anthropology, cytology, human biology, immunology, medicine, nutritional science, biochemistry, data science, clinical chemistry, or evolutionary medicine.

AQF Cert IV,
Successfully completed 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent),
Undergraduate Certificate,
Special Tertiary Admissions Test,
University Preparation Course,
Indigenous University Orientation Course,
Aboriginal University Readiness Assessment, or
Experience Based Entry Scheme.
International Baccalaureate Diploma - Minimum of 24 points (Minimum of 28 points for Law), consisting of aggregate from 3 higher level & 3 subsidiary level
IELTS Academic - Overall band minimum score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0).
TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition - Minimum score of 70, with no individual score less than 17.
TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) - Minimum score of 550, including Test of Written English of 5 or better.
