The Master of Education (Leadership and Learning) is an advanced degree designed for experienced teachers and educators seeking to strengthen their leadership skills.
Educational leaders today must motivate innovative approaches to teaching while addressing both worldwide and local concerns. This program empowers you to drive meaningful change within your institution.
Through hands-on learning guided by faculty with deep research and teaching knowledge, you'll cultivate your enthusiasm for educational leadership.
The program consists of eight units that can be finished in 12 months full-time or over two years part-time, based on your personalized study plan.
Four foundational units focus on: (i) navigating educational policy and leadership during complex times, (ii) using data for school improvement, (iii) promoting staff growth and wellness, and (iv) directing organizational change.
To complete the degree, you'll choose from research preparation courses and specialized electives. This program also serves as a stepping stone to doctoral studies for those pursuing academic research.
To be considered for admission to this degree you will need to meet at least one of the following criteria:
completion of a bachelor honours degree or higher in a related discipline
completion of a bachelor degree or higher in a related discipline and at least two years' of relevant work experience
