The MBA curriculum offers a comprehensive learning journey that combines essential business fundamentals, career advancement opportunities, leadership training, and a culminating capstone project.
To earn the Master of Business Administration degree, participants need to accumulate 12 credit points through 8 core units and 4 elective units (which can form a specialization). Additionally, all students must complete the mandatory DAI001 Academic Integrity Module (0 credit points).
Learners may choose Deakin's stackable microcredentials (0.5cp each) as MBA electives. These condensed masterclasses address contemporary workplace challenges and emerging trends relevant to business leaders. Generally, two microcredentials equal one elective credit point, delivering focused content in an accessible format.
The program culminates with the Deakin Advantage capstone, where students apply their accumulated knowledge through a practical live case study project.
