The MBA curriculum offers a comprehensive learning journey that combines essential business fundamentals, career advancement opportunities, leadership training, and a culminating capstone project.
To earn the Master of Business Administration degree, participants need to accumulate 12 credit points through 8 core units and 4 elective units (which can form a specialization). Additionally, all students must complete the mandatory DAI001 Academic Integrity Module (0 credit points).
Learners may choose Deakin's stackable microcredentials (0.5cp each) as MBA electives. These specialized masterclasses address contemporary workplace challenges and emerging trends relevant to business leaders. Two microcredentials generally equal one elective credit point, delivering focused content in concise, interactive formats.
The program culminates with the Deakin Advantage capstone, where students apply their accumulated knowledge through a practical live case study project that integrates all aspects of their MBA education.

You will need to meet the minimum course entry requirements to be considered for selection, but this does not guarantee admission.
To be considered for admission to this degree you will need to meet at least one of the following criteria:
completion of a bachelor degree or higher in any discipline and at least three years' relevant work experience (or part-time equivalent)*
completion of a graduate certificate or higher in a related discipline and at least three years' relevant work experience (or part-time equivalent)*
completion of a graduate diploma equivalent (professional pathways)
*Definition of minimum work experience: three years' relevant work experience and must include at least two years (full-time equivalent) in a managerial or professional role with responsibilities for decision making in a range of areas including budgetary oversight, staffing and management, involvement in strategy and planning development and operational implementation.
