The MBA curriculum offers a comprehensive learning journey that combines essential business fundamentals, career advancement opportunities, leadership training, and a culminating capstone project.
To earn the Master of Business Administration degree, participants need to accumulate 12 credit points through 8 core units and 4 elective units (which can form a specialization). This includes completing the mandatory DAI001 Academic Integrity Module (0 credit points).
Learners may opt to take Deakin's stackable microcredentials (0.5cp each) toward their MBA electives. These focused masterclasses address contemporary workplace challenges and emerging trends relevant to business leaders. Two microcredentials generally equal one elective credit point, delivering concentrated learning in an accessible format.
The program culminates with the Deakin Advantage capstone, where students tackle a real-world case study that integrates all aspects of their MBA education into a practical, hands-on project.
