The MBA curriculum offers a comprehensive learning journey that combines essential business fundamentals, career advancement opportunities, leadership development, and a culminating capstone project.
To earn the Master of Business Administration degree, participants need to complete 12 credit points, including 8 core units and 4 elective units (which can form a specialization). Additionally, all students must complete the mandatory DAI001 Academic Integrity Module (0 credit points).
Learners may choose Deakin's stackable microcredentials (0.5cp each) as MBA electives. These specialized masterclasses address contemporary workplace challenges and emerging trends relevant to business leaders. Generally, two microcredentials equal one elective credit point, delivering focused learning in concise formats.
The program culminates with the Deakin Advantage capstone, where students tackle a real-world case study that integrates all concepts and skills acquired throughout their MBA journey.
