The MBA curriculum offers a comprehensive learning journey that combines essential business fundamentals, career advancement opportunities, leadership development, and a culminating capstone project.
To earn the Master of Business Administration degree, candidates need to complete 12 credit points, including 8 core units and 4 elective units (which can form a specialization). Additionally, all students must complete the mandatory DAI001 Academic Integrity Module (0 credit points).
Learners may opt to take Deakin's stackable microcredentials (0.5cp each) as MBA electives. These focused masterclasses address contemporary workplace challenges and emerging trends relevant to business leaders. Two microcredentials generally equal one elective credit point, delivering concentrated learning in an accessible format.
The program culminates with the Deakin Advantage capstone, where students apply their accumulated knowledge through a practical live case study project that integrates concepts from throughout their MBA studies.
