Prepare to become a future business leader by acquiring essential skills and hands-on experience in your chosen field through this prestigious program. The MBA curriculum offers a comprehensive approach, covering fundamental business concepts expected in an MBA, career growth opportunities, leadership development, and a culminating capstone project.
To earn the Master of Business Administration degree, participants must complete 12 credit points total, including 8 core units and 4 elective units (which can form a Faculty-wide specialization). Additionally, all students must finish the mandatory 0-credit module, DAI001 Academic Integrity Module.
Learners may opt to take Deakin's stackable short courses (0.5cp microcredentials) toward their MBA electives. These specialized masterclasses address contemporary workplace challenges and emerging trends relevant to today's business leaders. Generally, two short courses equal one elective credit point, delivering focused learning in an accessible format.
The program culminates with the Deakin Advantage capstone, where students apply their accumulated knowledge through a practical 'live case study' project that integrates concepts from throughout their studies.
