An experienced academic researcher will serve as your primary advisor for the Doctor of Philosophy - Environmental Science program. Additional advisors, either from within or outside the institution, will support the main supervisor. Certain in-person participation may be necessary, and you'll need to submit a thesis presenting your research findings in your chosen specialization as declared during enrollment.
Potential advisors will be introduced to help develop a suitable research proposal. Typically, the Doctor of Philosophy program takes two to four years of full-time study (or equivalent part-time) and is available through both online and on-campus formats.
To be considered for selection into a Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) degree, you are required to have completed either:
a research project in a related area including a thesis which is equivalent to at least 25% of a year's full-time study at Level 8 or 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework with achievement of a grade for the project equivalent to a Deakin grade of 70% or equivalent
a higher degree by research (HDR) in a related area

C1 ADVANCED and C2 PROFICIENCY: 176 No band less than 169
PTE: 58 No less than 50 in each skill
OET: Overall C+
