Each PhD candidate in Biological and Chemical Sciences at the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM) will be assigned a primary supervisor from the institute's full-time academic staff with research expertise. Additional associate supervisors, either from within or outside the institution, will support the main supervisor. Candidates must fulfill specific attendance obligations and submit a thesis presenting their research findings in their chosen field of study, as determined upon enrollment. Prospective students will connect with potential supervisors to discuss potential research projects. Typically, the PhD program spans two to four years of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) and offers both on-campus and online study options.
