This professionally-oriented dual degree was developed in collaboration with the Australian Crime Commission, guaranteeing your education aligns with real-world challenges in law enforcement. Hands-on training forms the cornerstone of this program. You'll hone your investigative abilities in our specialized crime scene simulation labs, acquire practical knowledge through industry placements, and receive instruction from globally recognized criminology experts.

To be considered for an undergraduate course, you need to meet Deakin’s entry and course-specific requirements, as well as the English language minimum prerequisites.
Non-Year 12 applicants with:
higher education study
Vocational Education and Training (VET) study
work and life experience Or
completed Year 12 in 2021 or earlier.
Completion of one of the following:
2 credit points in an AQF Level 7 bachelor degree
certificate IV or higher in a related discipline
a diploma or higher in any discipline
at least 50% completion of a diploma or higher in a related discipline relevant work and life experience.
