These professionals must skillfully operate within political, bureaucratic and legal systems while maintaining ethical and sustainable practices. Through this PIA-endorsed program, you'll examine socioeconomic and ecological concerns impacting societies and tackle genuine challenges with guidance from multiple industry collaborators.
You'll develop expertise in planning regulations and their practical implementation, with opportunities to participate in actual development initiatives.
This program targets graduates with built environment backgrounds - including architecture, landscape design or geography - pursuing PIA certification for planning careers. It's unsuitable for individuals already holding PIA-recognized undergraduate planning degrees.
A bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline (other than planning) from a recognised tertiary institution.
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): Grade C; and Pearson Test of English Academic: 60.
