The Master of Teaching program is tailored for individuals pursuing their first teaching qualification to become registered educators in Australia or other nations that accept Australian teaching credentials.
This program also serves certified teachers looking to acquire an additional formal qualification, if required, to transition into Early Childhood, Primary, or Secondary Education.
Throughout the Master of Teaching, you'll develop sophisticated analytical abilities, expertise, and insights into educational best practices to address contemporary learners' needs.
The curriculum includes professional experience opportunities, culminating in a teaching placement during your final year. This specialization prepares graduates to teach students in grades 7 through 12.
Participants can focus on one or two of six subject areas (contingent on academic background), qualifying them to teach those specific subjects in secondary schools.
This pathway emphasizes curriculum and teaching methodology, offering additional chances to implement subject-specific knowledge from your Primary Teaching Area within secondary education settings. It's designed for students admitted to the program with a single Primary Teaching Area based on their application.
