This program enhances your expertise in clinical exercise physiology across diverse pathologies and population groups.
You'll develop specialized skills to evaluate, design, implement, and modify exercise programs that improve health and functionality for individuals with chronic illnesses, injuries, and disabilities. These encompass cardiovascular, pulmonary, kidney, metabolic, and neurological disorders, along with musculoskeletal pain, psychological conditions, and cancer.
Featuring a blended learning approach, the curriculum emphasizes client-focused care and research-backed methods to deliver comprehensive treatment addressing all aspects of a person's health (including multiple coexisting conditions).
The course provides fully supervised clinical practice experiences, including potential placements in Cambodia, and valuable interdisciplinary learning opportunities with students from other Curtin health science programs.
