The Master of Business Administration (Advanced) is an expanded iteration of Curtin's premier MBA program, offering extra hands-on industry project experience. Designed for seasoned professionals aspiring to executive leadership positions, this program builds on substantial work experience.
The curriculum spans diverse industries. Based at our Perth CBD campus, you'll develop cutting-edge business strategies to help organizations succeed in unpredictable economic landscapes.
Key study areas encompass economics, finance, organizational behavior, strategic planning, international commerce, and marketing. To stay current with industry evolution across corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits, we've incorporated modules on executive financial analysis, sustainable global operations, and strategic organizational development.
Digital Finance Specialization: This focus area equips you with essential digital finance competencies crucial for today's business landscape and entrepreneurial ventures. Created in partnership with the Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre (DFCRC), this specialization is available within Curtin's MBA and MBA (Advanced) programs.
The curriculum covers blockchain systems, digital currencies, leadership approaches, market structures, and regulatory frameworks shaping the evolution of financial markets.

Qualification Requirements
For entry into the MBA, applicants require a relevant undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution and at least three (3) years of relevant work experience (prospective students with 2 years relevant work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis). Alternatively, applicants to the MBA may have a relevant Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma with a Course Weighted Average of 65%, and three (3) years of relevant work experience (prospective students with 2 years relevant work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis). Applicants to the MBA are also required to meet University academic and English language entry standards (IELTS requirement of 6.5 overall [with no individual band less than 6]). Entry to the course is competitive and applicants will be required to undertake an interview as the final stage of application assessment.
